FUNDAMENTALS OF DIGITAL & CRIME SCENE PHOTOGRAPHY

This comprehensive four-day course is designed for investigators, supervisors, CSI professionals, detectives, officers, and forensic experts seeking to master the essential skills of crime scene documentation through digital photography. Participants will begin by gaining a solid understanding of digital camera functions and settings, tailored to their specific field needs. Next, core photographic principles and techniques will be introduced and practiced, ensuring participants can capture clear, accurate images under various conditions.

The course will focus on applying these skills to effectively document crime scenes, guiding participants through the key steps of crime scene photography from start to finish. Emphasis will be placed on practical, hands-on exercises that reinforce learning and build confidence in real-world applications.

For maximum benefit, participants are encouraged to bring the digital camera they regularly use in the field, allowing them to become intimately familiar with the tools they'll rely on for high-quality crime scene documentation in their professional work.

BASIC CRIME SCENE PROCESSING

Through a blend of hands-on training and practical instruction, you’ll learn to document crime scenes using digital photography, detailed notes, precise sketches, and accurate measurements. The course culminates with real-world exercises in handling and packaging a variety of evidence types. Designed for Investigators, Supervisors, CSIs, Detectives, Officers, and Forensic Professionals, this program equips participants with the tools and techniques to excel in forensic crime scene investigations..
